The Town of Midland is preparing a Waterfront Master Plan that will create a guide for future decisions about the Town’s waterfront.
Get involvedRegister to attend a Waterfront Master Plan workshop on June 19, 2025 at Midland's recreation centre (527 Len Self Blvd.) inside the main hall, located on the second floor. The Town flushes water mains each year to ensure the water coming out of your tap is safe to drink. Water is drained from fire-hydrants at high speeds out onto the street and into a storm drain. This high-speed water lifts and flushes sediment and mineral deposits from the pipes.

(May 14, 2025, Midland ON) With the arrival of warmer weather, construction season is officially underway. Each spring, the Town of Midland undertakes essential infrastructure projects, such as road reconstruction and resurfacing. These projects enhance safety, improve mobility, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our community.

Yonge Street
Midland Transit: Yonge Street Detour (May to November)

Mid-Pen Transit Midland route will detour off of Yonge Street in Midland due to the Yonge Street Reconstruction project.
Starting now until November 2025, the Midland route will detour from Yonge Street: the bus will follow the normal route from King Street now turning right onto Yonge Street, turning left onto Manly Street, then turning left onto Hugel Avenue then continuing along Hugel Avenue turning left onto Eighth Street, then returning to Yonge Street to follow the normal route.
