Thanksgiving Holiday affected services:
- Town Hall - will be closed on Monday, October 14.
- NSSRC - will be closed on Monday, October 14.
- Harbour Office - will be closed on Monday, October 14.
- Mid-Pen Transit - no service on Monday, October 14.

Where: Section of the Waterfront Trail - Complete trail closure between Pete Pettersen Park to Victoria Street and Ottawa Street.
When: Thursday, September 26 to Friday, September 27, 2024.
Why: Resurfacing along section of the Waterfront Trail.

Temporary Office Closure - September 26, 2024

The municipal office will be closed on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. for a staff appreciation event. The office will be open Friday, September 27, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre will not be affected by this closure. Mid-Pen Transit Service will be running as scheduled.

Temporary Road Closure - Dominion Ave

Where: Section of Dominion Avenue will be closed, from Eighth Street to Seventh Street.
When: Friday, August 30, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Detour Suggestion: Use Hugel Avenue or Bay Street. Open to local traffic only.

Boil Water Advisory for Midland Rescinded (lifted) by Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit

The Boil Water Advisory issued for the East Pressure Zone of Midland on August 26, 2024, has been lifted today (August 27, 2024) by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. Laboratory test results have confirmed that the water is free from contamination and is safe to drink. Any facilities that were closed as a result of the advisory can now reopen after taking the necessary precautions.
