Temporary Road Closure - Victoria St

Where: Section of Victoria Street will be closed, from Eighth Street to Woodland Drive.

When: Monday, July 22, 2024 at 7 a.m. to Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 6 p.m.

Detour Suggestion: Use Eighth Street to Ottawa Street to Woodland Drive.

Why: Sanitary Sewer repairs

Temporary Trail Closure - Section of Waterfront Trail

Where: Section of the Waterfront Trail parallel to Aberdeen Blvd. 

When: Starting Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. to Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.

Why: Maintenance along section of the Waterfront Trail. 

Detour: Use other pathway, as access point at Vas Kuchar Memorial Park and past Davenport St will be closed.

Little Lake Park (Construction) - Temporary Closures

Little Lake Park is getting some extra love! Some areas of the park will be closed to the public, as well as limited parking. Please be aware of active construction when visiting, stay clear of the highlighted zones in the figure below. 

Stormwater Management Pond Reconstruction

What: Area closed during construction period (outlined in yellow on map).

When: Monday, July 8, 2024 to Friday, August 30, 2024.

What: A section of sidewalk will be closed along Midland Avenue.

Where: Midland Avenue (East side), between Yonge Street to Hugel Avenue.

When: Monday, July 8, 2024 to Friday, August 9, 2024.

Why: Sidewalk construction to be completed by contractor.

Additional Information:

• There will be no access for pedestrians, please use the sidewalk on the other side of Midland Ave.
• Minor traffic delays during construction. 
• No on-street parking along section of sidewalk.
