Mayor Bill Gordon gathered with staff and council members to lower the flags for Indigenous Veterans Day. Today honours the contributions of First Nations, Métis and Inuit people who participated in and continue to serve in Canada’s military efforts. Today Mayor Bill Gordon, Town Council members and staff gathered to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Town flags were lowered, and a moment of silence was held during a ceremony this morning at Town hall.
