Town of Midland Staff and Council gathered this morning to recognize International Women's Day, as well as the contributions and achievements of women throughout history and across cultures. Let's continue to push for gender equity and empowerment. Together, we can build a better world where every person’s voice is heard and valued.
 
The theme this year is #EmbraceEquity! Equity isn't just a nice-to-have, it's a must-have. So join our staff and give equity a huge embrace!

Flag Raising - Crime Stoppers Month 2023

Staff gathered with Mayor Bill Gordon, representatives from the OPP and Crime Stoppers this morning to officially acknowledge January 2023 as Crime Stoppers Month in the Town of Midland.

The 2023 Crime Stoppers theme is to "Stand Up, Stand Together". As a community, we must Stand Up, Stand Together to further the values of inclusion, respect for cultural differences, equal rights, and a commitment to social justice.
