The Town of Midland raised the Crime Stoppers flag proclaiming January as Crime Stoppers month! The Crime Stoppers Simcoe, Dufferin and Muskoka (CSSDM) serves over 530,000 residents.
This integral volunteer driven organization supports police services with tips, keeping communities safe. They are available 24/7 to take your anonymous tips.

Today Mayor Bill Gordon gathered with staff, members of Council and members from the community to lower the flags for the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

Midland raises flag for the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign

Today Mayor Bill Gordon, gathered with staff and members from the Midland Salvation Army and was joined by Tiny Township Mayor David Evans to raise the Salvation Army flag and kick off the 2024 Kettle Campaign that started on November 21. Thank you to the dedicated team and volunteers with the Salvation Army for all you do.

Today honours the contributions of First Nations, Métis and Inuit people who participated in and continue to serve in Canada’s military efforts.
