Keywords

The Town has initiated the development of an Economic Development Strategy (EDS) which will provide a clear roadmap to support Midland’s economy and advance the Town’s vision of a complete community. It will identify strategic actions to attract investment, support local businesses, create jobs, and enhance quality of life.

Midland has not had a comprehensive, standalone EDS since 1991. Developing a new strategy will ensure the Town takes a proactive, community-driven approach to economic growth. Informed by input from residents, businesses, and community partners, the EDS will reflect local priorities and position Midland to capitalize on future opportunities while supporting long-term prosperity.

We are looking for your input

What makes Midland a great place to live, work, do business, and invest?

As we develop a new Economic Development Strategy, we're asking community members to share their perspectives on Midland's economy today and opportunities for the future.

Take the survey and help shape the priorities that will guide economic development in Midland over the next five years.

The survey is open until September 7, 2026.
