Midland's Historic Top Hat Ceremony is Back! We are honoured to congratulate Captain Brandon Durant of the Canadian Steamship M.V. Frontenac for being the first commercial vessel of the season to grace our shores! Mayor Gordon and Harbour Master Rick presented the antique silk top hat and some unique Midland gifts to the Captain this morning.

Wastewater Sewer Overflow Report April 6, 2023

On April 5, 2023 Midland’s wastewater collection system experienced an overflow of 1640.4 cubic meters of highly diluted sewage due to excessive rainfall and snowmelt. All regulatory reporting requirements have been met.
