What: Council Intends to Pass a By-law to Remove a Holding "H" Symbol.

Property Location: 233 Midland Point Road

Why: To allow the construction of a new dwelling on the waterfront side of the property.

Road Closures:

• Dominion – between Eighth St. and Margaret St.
• Cavana – between Bay St. and Dominion Ave.

Detours:

Cavana: local traffic only, access via Bay St. only

Dominion: Westbound: Eighth St. to Montreal St., then to Margaret St. returning back to Dominion Ave. (Reverse for Eastbound)

Emergency Vehicle Access:

Midland declares Significant Weather Event as of February 14, 2025

A significant weather event has been declared due to rapid snow accumulation, reduced visibility on roads and the snow squall warning issued by Environment Canada. 

During a significant weather event it may take longer than usual for Town Operations to bring the roads back to optimal condition. Municipal roads and sidewalks are considered to be in a state of repair until the event is declared ended.
