What: A section of sidewalk will be closed along Dominion Avenue.
Where: Dominion Avenue (North side), between Bourgeois Lane to Midland Avenue.
When: Thursday, July 18, 2024 to Monday, July 29, 2024.
Why: Sidewalk construction to be completed by contractor.
Additional Information
- There will be no access for pedestrians, please use the sidewalk on the other side of Dominion Ave.
- No on-street parking along section of sidewalk.
- Parking lot at Midland Ave and Bourgeois Lane will have limited parking spaces.

Temporary Road Closure - Victoria St

Where: Section of Victoria Street will be closed, from Eighth Street to Woodland Drive.
When: Monday, July 22, 2024 at 7 a.m. to Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 6 p.m.
Detour Suggestion: Use Eighth Street to Ottawa Street to Woodland Drive.
Why: Sanitary Sewer repairs

Today, Mayor Bill Gordon and Harbour Master Rick congratulated Captain Brandon Durant of the Canadian Steamship M.V. Frontenac for being the first commercial vessel of the season to grace our shores! The Frontenac was the first ship in the Harbour earlier this Spring, however the ceremony was postponed due to conflicting schedules.

Temporary Trail Closure - Section of Waterfront Trail

Where: Section of the Waterfront Trail parallel to Aberdeen Blvd.
When: Starting Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. to Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.
Why: Maintenance along section of the Waterfront Trail.
Detour: Use other pathway, as access point at Vas Kuchar Memorial Park and past Davenport St will be closed.
