Midland, book your ride to Balm Beach

Based off a Council directive, Midland residents can now book a seat on the public Balm Beach Shuttle, provided by Community Reach, for their Saturday beach trip to Balm Beach in Tiny, ON.
The first service is this Saturday (June 29, 2024), make sure you book by Thursday and secure your spot.

Temporary Trail Closure - Section of Waterfront Trail

Where: Section of the Waterfront Trail parallel to Aberdeen Blvd.
When: Starting June 20, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. to June 21, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.
Why: Maintenance along section of the Waterfront Trail.
Detour: Access point at Vas Kuchar Memorial Park and past Davenport St will be closed, use other paths.

Cooling Areas in Midland

Staying cool during a heat wave can be tough. The Town of Midland has two areas where residents are welcome to visit to stay safe while it is extremely hot out. Each location has a water fountain, water bottle refill station, public washrooms, and public seating areas.
Where to goMidland Public Library (320 King Street)
Monday: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday to Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: closed
