(July 8, 2024 – Midland, ON) On Sunday July 7th the Town of Midland kicked off the first of many summer music events with the successful return of the beloved "Music in the Park" series at Little Lake Park. These free summer concerts are open to everyone, with shows running Sundays at 7 p.m. until August 25, 2024.

Little Lake Park (Construction) - Temporary Closures

Little Lake Park is getting some extra love! Some areas of the park will be closed to the public, as well as limited parking. Please be aware of active construction when visiting, stay clear of the highlighted zones in the figure below. 

Stormwater Management Pond Reconstruction

What: Area closed during construction period (outlined in yellow on map).

When: Monday, July 8, 2024 to Friday, August 30, 2024.

Why: Storm pond remediation and clean out.

Where: Midland Avenue (East side), between Yonge Street to Hugel Avenue.

When: Monday, July 8, 2024 to Friday, August 9, 2024.

Why: Sidewalk construction to be completed by contractor.

Additional Information:

• There will be no access for pedestrians, please use the sidewalk on the other side of Midland Ave.
• Minor traffic delays during construction. 
• No on-street parking along section of sidewalk.

Where: Section of Victoria Street will be closed, from Edmond Street to Seventh Street

When: Monday, July 8, 2024 at 7 a.m. to Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 6 p.m.

Detour Suggestion: Use parallel roads to access either side of Victoria Street

Why: Sanitary Sewer repairs
