Midland raises flag for Black History Month

The Town of Midland raised the Pan African flag to celebrate the start of Black History Month.

Black History is everyone’s history. Today we listen, this month we learn and reflect, and year-round we continue the conversation.

This is a reminder of our call to action to strengthen our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

The 2025 theme for Black History Month is: “Black Legacy and Leadership: Celebrating Canadian History and Uplifting Future Generations” learn more on the Government of Canada's website.
