The Town's project, Leveraging AI for Enhanced Risk Assessments for Water and Wastewater Infrastructure, received this prestigious award for its innovative approach to using AI technology to improve the process for managing over two hundred linear kilometres of water and wastewater infrastructure, ultimately improving infrastructure lifespan and enhancing overall service delivery.
The Peter J. Marshall Municipal Innovation Awards celebrates municipal governments in Ontario that create new and innovative solutions to local problems. Each year up to three municipal projects are chosen by the Selection Committee to receive an award.
