Staying cool during a heat wave can be tough. The Town of Midland has two areas where residents are welcome to visit to stay safe while it is extremely hot out. Each location has a water fountain, water bottle refill station, public washrooms, and public seating areas.

Monday: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday to Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: closed
North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre (527 Len Self Boulevard)
Monday to Thursday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday to Sunday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
