Back to SearchIt is with great sorrow that the Town of Midland has lowered all flags at Municipal buildings to half-mast in memory of Deputy Mayor Jack Contin. Deputy Mayor Contin passed away suddenly in the early hours of November 9, 2023. Our hearts are with his family, friends, colleagues and the rest of our community.
Deputy Mayor Contin has left an everlasting mark on our community. His unwavering passion and commitment to public service will continue to shine through as his legacy. Deputy Mayor Contin will be remembered not only for his exceptional leadership but also for his kindness, compassion, and genuine concern for every individual in our community. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the honour of knowing him.
