Back to SearchThe Council of the Corporation of the Town of Midland will hold a hybrid (virtual and in-person) Public Meeting on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 starting at 4:00pm in the Council Chambers at the Municipal office for the following:
- Amendment to the Building Permit Fees (Building By-Law No. 2005-51) as per Section 7(6) of the Building Code Act, 1992.
The Town Council will consider a staff report at a Hybrid Public Meeting, which includes a draft by-law, proposing an increase of approximately 4.6% to existing fees to cover reasonable expected costs for activities performed under the Building Code Act, 1992.
Email the Building Services department for information on estimated costs of administering and enforcing the Building Code Act, 1992, and on the rationale for the fee increase. Email Building Services.
All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting and any person who attends the meeting may make representation relating to the proposed fees. Members of the public wishing to attend virtually may register by contacting the Clerk’s office.
