We hope you enjoyed celebrating the many murals in Midland at the inaugural Midland Mural Festival. 

Highlights of our 2024 Midland Mural Festival:

• Festival goers enjoyed a guided or self-guided mural tour.
• Picked up some delicious food.
• Browsed the downtown shops.
• Watched as murals came to life with live artists painting on scene.
• Everyone was invited to make their mark on history by taking part in TWO new community murals. 
• Enjoyed live music by five incredible local bands.

Midland is home to one of Ontario's largest outdoor art galleries. If you take a stroll down King Street, nearly everywhere you look you can see stunning unique artwork. And it isn't just in our downtown core! We have outdoor art displayed in Little Lake Park, as well as our Harbour, and Midland Bay Landing. We have laneways full of a wide variety of custom commissioned art pieces.

We've got something to brag about. The "Huron Native and Jesuit Priest at Sainte-Marie" mural measures 80 feet by 250 feet, making it the largest outdoor historic mural in North America - and it is located at our beautiful waterfront on Georgian Bay!
