Speaking before Council
In order to appear on the Regular Meeting of Council agenda, an individual must complete the Deputation Request Form as provided through the following link: Deputation Request Form
- Deputations shall be received in the Committee of the Whole portion of the Council Meeting.
- A ten (10) minute time limit applies.
- No more than two (2) Deputations shall be scheduled for any Council Meeting.
- Any person desiring to provide a Deputation shall submit a "Request for Deputation” form to the Clerk’s office not later than 12 noon on the Tuesday one week in advance of the Council Meeting, to be considered.
- Should your request be approved, applicants will be notified to provide any printed materials for inclusion in the Agenda Package.
Correspondence
- Correspondence addressed to the Mayor and/or Members of Council will be distributed directly to them.
- Correspondence for a Council agenda must be received by noon on Tuesday the week prior to a scheduled Regular Meeting of Council.
- When communicating with the Town, be aware that your comments together with your name and address may be included on the Council and Committee agenda and may subsequently appear online.
Please Note: Correspondence addressed to the Mayor and/or Members of Council will not be included on a Council agenda unless the writer specifically requests inclusion on a public agenda.
The Clerk and Chief Administrative Officer reserve the right to withhold any correspondence from the agenda.
