Mid-Pen Transit is not responsible for lost items. If you think you left an item on a bus, please contact Customer Service.
Flag down service
You can catch the bus at any safe point on its route. Passengers seeking bus service are not required to be at a bus stop or shelter to get on or off a bus. Mid-Pen Transit allows passengers standing in a safe location to flag down bus along its route and get on the bus.
Transfer information
The transfer point between Midland and Penetanguishene is at Huronia Mall. Riders will request a transfer slip while paying fare onboarding the bus. Transfers are valid for 30mins.
Bus behaviour
Mid-Pen Transit commits to upholding all aspects of the Ontario Human Rights Code. We will ensure that every person receives equal treatment in receipt of service.

Guide dogs and service animals
Mid-Pen Transit accepts service and guide dogs onboard. Service animals will need to provide documentation if they are not in uniform.
Strollers and bundle buggies
Mid-Pen Transit accepts single strollers or bundle buggies. Passengers must ensure their belongings do not interfere with other passengers. Accessible passenger spots will need to be priority for passengers with disabilities.
Transportation of bicycles
Mid-Pen Transit provides racks for bicycles on the front of a limited number of buses.

Space is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Large bikes and scooter-style bicycles are not compatible with the racks

Passengers must remove all detachable items from their bicycle.
Transportation of other items
Transportation of bulk items will be at the operator's discretion.
Mid-Pen Transit will not allow:
- Firearms
- Offensive or prohibited weapons
- Chemicals
- Toxic substances
- Flammables
Aisles must remain clear of belongings.
