The Balm Beach Shuttle Pilot Program is gearing up for summer.
Based on a Town Council directive, Midland residents can use this Community Reach provided conventional public transit option to cool off on a Saturday in the summer at Balm Beach in Tiny, ON.

Midland residents can book a spot on Saturday shuttle service to Balm Beach. The first Saturday service is June 29, 2024 and last Saturday service is September 7, 2024. Bookings must be made by the Thursday before each Saturday. The shuttle can hold a maximum of five passengers per trip. All payments must be made in cash.

How do I book the shuttle? |
Must book both pick-up and drop-off times in advance on or before the Thursday afternoon prior to service. Names and ages of all riders must to be provided at time of booking. Book your ride by calling Community Reach at 705-528-6999. |
How much does it cost to use? |
All payments must be made in cash upon pick up. The cost per one way ride, per person: $3.00 for adults $2.50 for students 6 and under – free Seniors free |
What times will the shuttle run throughout the day? |
The shuttle will be on location 10 minutes prior to pick-up and drop-off times. Riders must be ready at the pick up locations at their assigned time. Midland Pick-Up (MP) / Return Pick-Up from Balm Beach (BP)

Where does the shuttle pick-up/drop-off? |
The shuttle will pick up at the rider's home, with drop off at the main Balm Beach area. Leaving from the same Balm Beach drop off location, and return to rider's home. |
When is payment taken? |
Cash is the only method of payment, this must be paid upon shuttle pick-up to the driver. |
Can I cancel or change my booking? |
If you need to cancel or change your booking time, please call by noon on the Friday before your trip. |
Is there a cancellation or "no-show" penalty? |
If you do not provide notice, you may be prohibited from participating in the program. |
What items can I bring? |
The Community Reach shuttle can sit five passengers, and comfortably allow one bag per person with no oversized items. |
